Ross Crandall graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and subsequently worked with a leading industrial engineering company designing sealing systems for oil and gas downhole tools. With a love for innovation, Ross returned to law school at the University of Utah School of Law intent to become a patent attorney and work on exciting technologies. During law school, he gained broad experience working with the Attorney General’s office and the United States District Court for the District of Utah.
Ross is a licensed patent attorney who has practiced with large and small IP law firms for 9 years. He has a successful track record in procuring patents, trademarks, and all forms of intellectual property. Ross helps clients navigate the world of IP, setting up and implementing IP policies and procedures, training and advising inventors, and negotiating and advocating for clients before the Patent and Trademark Office. Ross also has worked extensively in procuring foreign patents in foreign jurisdictions all over the world.
Ross is currently partnered with Intellectual Strategies, a law firm and patent strategy specialist catering to the needs of startup companies.
